We, VDG Voramus, are Fyrfad's one and only women sorority and we are looking for new members!! Are you fun to hang out with, do you like food, parties and men as well? Then you can join us! We offer you once every two weeks an evening when we cook together, have a nice dinner and drinks, sometimes organise an activity and afterwards go out. The INKOM is the is the introduction for all freshmen in Maastricht. During this week, numerous activities and festivals are organised, so you can start explore student life. Fyrfad is also present at the INKOM. You can recognize us by the Fyrfad shirts and polos. Speak to us if you want to know more about our club! Like every year Fyrfad you can find us at the INKOM
The INKOM 2010 begins on Tuesday, August 23th. Our moms and dads will be ready to guide two groups of new students during this great week.
You can find us at the SCOREN? stand, which can be recognized by the bright orange color. Then we will join with other student sports associations on the SCOREN? buses and drive towards the Markt. The INKOM 2011 will officially be opened at the Markt. During the pub crawl on Tuesday night we will be present at the Dikke Dragonder in the Platielstraat.
Wednesday, August 24th is the sports day at the track at the Geusselt. During the sports day, we have a booth where you can ask questions and get information. There are also fun activities and Fyrfad has organized a great activity. During the evening we will socialize during the Scoren bbq, and then we will go on with last night’s pub crawl. Again, Fyrfad can be found at the Dikke Dragonder.
On Thursday, August 25th you can find us at the information festival. We will gladly answer all your questions. Ask us here are all your questions, give your phone number so we can keep you informed of the training and drinks.
On Friday, August 26th we will be back with a large group at the cantus, and everyone is welcome to join us for a great feast.

Membership
If you want to be a member of Fyrfad, you need a membership. The costs of a membership will be determined on the General Members Meeting every year. This season, 2009/2010, a membership costs €74 which includes a membership at NeVoBo, the dutch volleyball confederation. This means that you'll be allowed to train with Fyrfad and can play matches in one of Fyrfad's teams. You also can be a half-year member of Fyrfad. A half a year takes from September till December or from January till June. The costs of a half-year membership are €54 and this also includes the NeVoBo membership. Besides a regular Fyrfad membership, every member has to buy a UM sportscard. If you are a year member you should buy a 12/12 card en you have to buy it before the 1th of October. A half year member has to buy a 6/12 card and has to do so before the 1th of February.

Cancel your membership
If you want to cancel your membership, please do so before the 1th of August. If you are not sure if you want to be a member next year, it's best to cancel it before the 1th of August and reregister in September again if you want to stay after all. Please note that the cancelation is only completed when you receive a conformation mail. If you don't receive that mail within 2 weeks, please mail again and check whether you've made a mistake in the previous e-mail.

Organisation
The board
Annually, the board of Fyrfad is changing but consist of at least 3 persons. For the period of one year, the board is responsible for the organization and representation of Fyrfad. For their effort, they get a compensation in the form of a grant. The current board consists of persons with different functions: chairman, treasurer, secretary, technical coordinator, and activity coordinator and general board members. Each function is responsible for one or more corresponding committees.
