Work groups
In the organization of Fyrfad there are several committees and work groups. Their functions are described in the survival guide which is distributed at the beginning of the volleyball season. Furthermore, at this site one can find further information. Committees hold meetings at a regular basis and as long as there is a vacancy, your free to join. Gala
The workgroup gala organises in March a fairylike Gala! For this event, we also need enthousiastic members. This year, Susanne ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) will be in charge of the Gala. She already starts organizing the gala in December, so don’t hesitate and join this committee!
Members weekend
The workgroup membersweekend organises every year one weekend for all members of Fyrfad. This weekend is always a great success and is known for it’s Cantus! Members day
One day with all Fyrfadmembers to visit Warner Brother’s Movie World? Paris? Or to have an active survivalday? It is all possible if you join the workgroup membersday! Workgroup Integration Freshmen
In dutch: Werkgroep Integratie Eerstejaars (WIE). The WIE was first established in 2003 to organise several activities with the goal to get the new members to know Fyrfad and its members and committees. Every week, fore a period of about a month, activities need to be organised. Examples are: walking dinner, pub crawl, committee battle, and so on.Furthermore, the WIE is the main contact for new members if they have questions about the activities of Fyrfad or if they need more information about the club. Batavierenrace
The ‘Batavierenrace’ is a rally-race for students from Nijmegen to Enschede. Running with a stomach full of beer and joining the largest studentparty from Holland, it is all possible at the ‘Bata’! Fyrfad joins the Bata every year and also this year we are looking for people who want to represent Fyrfad, but also make sure that everything is well arranged. Hajraa
The largest student grass volleybaltournament of the year, Hajraa in Eindhoven!
Every year we travel to the North with a large group of fyrfadmembers to join this tournament. We also need members to make sure there is cold beer and a place to sleep for everyone.
